I have a number of 126cm (49,6"), do you know if that is the total bow length or the length of the belly?If it is the belly wood with no ears the bow could have been 58-62" long.

Its only a belly, If we look at the other remaining artefact, this should mean about 160cm of bow (63"). This seems reasonable, and is about average height for a male saami in the area at the time.

I m not 100% sure but if that was the belly I saw, then all the carvings was on the inside. Maybe it wasn't ornamentations but something for the glue to stick better to?
